Hi, my name is Meg, and I am a 34-year-old single mother to two wonderful children—a 4-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son. As a small but strong family, we have faced many challenges, but now we are facing our biggest one yet.

My father, who lives in the UK, has been diagnosed with cancer. Being so far away from him during this time has been incredibly difficult, and I want nothing more than to be by his side, offering love and support. Unfortunately, we have no family or support here in South Africa, making this journey even more urgent and important for us.

Relocating to the UK is a huge step, but it is one that we must take to be with my father and build a better, more secure future for my children. The costs associated with visas, flights, and resettling are overwhelming, and I cannot do it alone.

I am reaching out to kind-hearted people who understand the importance of family and the power of coming together in times of need. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us closer to reuniting with my father and giving my children the stability and family connection they deserve.
