Dear friends and animal lovers,

I am reaching out to you with a heart full of hope and an urgent plea on behalf of my cat Matilda. A year and a half ago, Matilda came into my life and has since become my most loyal and beloved companion. However, recently we have faced a problem as we discovered that Matilda is suffering from corneal sequestration, also known as corneal necrosis, in one of her eyes. To my surprise and sorrow, during her first veterinary examination, we discovered that this problem also affects her other eye. This news has filled me with concern and has led us to seek desperate help as I live alone with my mother.

Matilda is more than just a pet to me; she is my companion and an endless source of love and joy in my life. I have never felt such a strong bond with an animal, and seeing her suffer breaks my heart. Unfortunately, my financial resources are limited and I do not have the financial capacity to cover the costs of the necessary surgery to treat her condition.

Therefore, I am turning to you with humility and hope in search of help. I am asking for your generosity to help Matilda receive the treatment she needs. The surgery to treat her corneal sequestration has a significant cost, approximately $1000-1500, as some additional examinations need to be done besides the surgery, and I am struggling to find a way to cover it on my own.
