My Travel Story

Hi all! My name is Pallas-Amenah, and I'm a 2020 graduate from Ithaca College and the University of Southern Califronia. This summer, I am taking part in the Intern Group Abroad Program, where I will be interning in television production! I am really excited about this opportunity, but am need help funding myself while abroad. Unpaid internships have always been difficult for me to take part in, but an internship abroad in the a field I am interested in is a dream come true!

As a writer and filmmaker, I aspire to create stories that allow people to run free with their imaginations while also drawing connections to themselves, to others around them, and to the world we live in. I would love to have the opportunity to further that passion in an international environment. Experiencing another culture will help develop my ability to tell real, authentic, and diverse stories. Life is richer when many voices are heard. Representation isn't all that matters, but it's definitely a start. Please consider helping me reach my goals of telling the stories I wish I'd heard when I was younger, and putting Black faces in dope spaces!
