My Travel Story

Philippines is where I was born and it's undeniably a beautiful place to live in. Tourists often choose to go there to enjoy our beautiful white sand beaches for a really good price considering that our currency exchange more likely doubles their money.

It's a shame that being born there I have not really explored my own country. I've been to some places only nearby my hometown and to olaces that doesn't really cost much.

Right now, I live in Us with my husband and baby and have not been back home for almost 4 years now. I got pregnant last year
and my mom planned on visiting me instead so I can have at least one of my family beside me when i give birth. Her Visa appointment  kept moving due to pandemic until on October 2020, I gave birth. Until now, my mom is still trying to visit me but there's still no update on the Visa. The flight tickets are just expensive as well for me and in addition to that, the covid situation affected me and got me laid off.

I wanted to go home this year. My baby is turning one and my family still haven't seen him at all. He is going to have all his shots and i believe he's in a better state to travel.

I miss my family so much. I have never been away from them until i moved here. We grew up close to each other and sharing our stuff. I miss my country, the street foods that i can't get from here at all, my moms cooking, everything. How i wish i could get a little taste of these memories again.

I am just going to try my luck to hopefully be able to gather some. I was thinking "why not, maybe people can spare me a $1" If not, I am still glad i have shared my story.

Thank you
