My Travel Story

Currently, I hold a minor in Tourism Management because it has always been my dream to travel to tourist destinations to learn about different cultures and to gain a sense of appreciation outside of my Bahamian Culture. I truly believe that travel takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste and try new things. It constantly challenges us, not only to adapt to and explore new surroundings, but also to engage with different people, to embrace adventures as they come and to share new and meaningful experiences. Travelling is a new interest for me because  I know it will help me see contrast, and appreciate the contrast. After living on a small island for the past 28 years, I am now craving change and adventure.
I choose Dubai as my destination of choice for so many reasons, the first being that it is a buck list item that I will love to mark completed. It is the most sought-after and diverse tourist destination, with a wide selection of main attractions and  experiences, making it the most preferred tourist destination. From research I can definitely see why it is referred to as the "City of Gold" or "The City of Magic"! It was also told to me that the best time to visit is in the month of October (My Birthday Month). Getting support with my campaign will really give me the best birthday gift!
