Science Teaching Experience in Costa Rica
My Travel Story
Hello! My name is Cheyenne and I am a current student at ASU studying Community Health while competing for ASU's Nursing program in my 3rd year. This studying abroad program will immerse me into another culture where I will learn and teach Science that is beneficial to my future healthcare career. I will use the knowledge and skills that I attain on this trip to expand my expertise in the workplace. I have always had a major interest in other cultures since I struggled with my cultural identity growing up so I want to familiarize myself with what else the world has to offer to better understand my identity as well as others. Since Nursing is such a diverse career, I want to help and contribute to others in need of assistance in many different ways while accomodating their needs. By studying abroad in Costa Rica, I will have the opportunity to learn, teach, and thrive in a supportive educational community that will benefit my current and future studies.
