Hello! My name is Lauryn. Many if you know that I am in my Senior year of college, majoring in Biology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. This year, our school offered a program that included Biology students, to go abroad spring break to Costa Rica where research will be done as well as rehabilitation for the Sea Turtles! Our goal is to not only help the turtles, but work on preserving and restoring their environment. Out of many students who had applied for this opportunity, I was one of the 15 students who was accepted.

This past summer I was able to intern at the Mystic Aquarium in the Education department, where I was able to incorporate my love for marine life and teaching together. This trip to Costa Rica is helping me be one step closer to achieving my dreams of working in a marine life or wild life center where I will be able to help educate others on the importance of our animals, and keeping their ecosystems safe. Going to Costa Rica and being able to work alongside fellow biologists as well as being immersed in a whole different culture is a once in a life time journey. I would love for everyone to be apart of it with me. I'm open to all donations, or if you could just share this, that would be just as helpful. Either way, thank you for all the support!
