My Travel Story

by: Natalie Molina Start Date: May 13, 2025 - End Date: Jul 11, 2025
Hey everyone!
I'm Natalie Molina, a sophomore at LSU on a Physicians Assistant track, majoring in kinesiology with a double minor in psychology and biology.

I am very excited to announce, that in a few weeks, I have a wonderful opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to Costa Rica. I'll be able to provide much-needed healthcare to the local community.

This journey is particularly meaningful to me because of my family history. My grandparents, Doyle and Barbara Bailey dedicated fifteen years of their lives as foreign missionaries. Their journey began in San Jose, Costa Rica – the very place where I will be serving! They moved thousands of miles from their families, with two toddlers and another baby on the way. That baby, as fate would have it, is my mother. She was born on Costa Rican soil.

I've always been inspired by their courage and their unwavering trust in God, especially when it meant stepping outside their comfort zone. I feel a similar calling to follow in their footsteps. I truly believe God is guiding me towards this mission.  I'm eager to see the positive impact and God’s work during my time there. Beyond offering healthcare, I'll also have the privilege of serving as a child of God, sharing compassion and support in any way I can.

This mission trip is not only a chance for me to gain invaluable experience in healthcare and global service, but also a deeply personal opportunity to connect with my family's roots and serve a community in need. The funds will directly support essential aspects of the trip, including medical supplies, travel expenses, and care resources.

I would be so grateful for any support you might be able to offer as I embark on this journey driven by my passion for helping others and my faith. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of the people I will be serving in Costa Rica. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering being a part of this meaningful experience!

I leave on July 7th, please pray for safe travels and that God will guide our mission.
