My Travel Story

I am planning to visit the beautiful island where I come from in Kefallonia Greece. The last time I was here was 2015 when my Dad was alive I couldn't head back due to financial hardships. I have two small kids ages eight and 10 years old and my husband who would love to go back to see and visit my father's grave. My father was the type of man that would take his shirt off for anyone who was in need, and I always found it very difficult to ask for help but right now finances are very tough and I thought to myself it's ok to ask for help. I wanted to head back to this beautiful island so  he can have  his name on his tombstone, which he well deserves he was a very hard working man always providing for his family. Finances were very hard and the house he has as well as my Moms not been maintained they need work my Dads house has leaks from the rain from time to time. He was a great man he worked for many years in New York City as a barber,. He was known as Jerry the barber and when I would run into his customers and they would ask how he is and I told them he passed grown men would cry. That's how much of a beautiful and kind man he was. Always treated everyone with respect and kindness and told me he wish he could just take away poverty from anyone struggling and just give people who need money and home all the necessities of life.  I would love my kids to see the beautiful island. Their mom is from and to take care of my Dad and Mom's assets because no one was able to travel due to financial issues. If you can, please donate to this campaign, so that we are able to travel back to this beautiful island that I come from would be so greatly appreciated, and it would be in memory of my Dad we can give him the proper respect and give him a name on his tomb as well as take care of the houses that need repair .It would be an honor and in memory to my Dad.
