Hi, I’m Taliyah Claiborne, a junior at Clark Atlanta University majoring in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and International Business. This spring, I have the chance to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan—a dream I’ve had since visiting after high school.

This experience will allow me to immerse myself in Japanese culture, push beyond my comfort zone, and grow as a global citizen. More importantly, I want to inspire young Black children by showing them that their dreams are achievable, no matter how far or different they may seem.
