My Travel Story

After 5 months of applications and interviews, I have officially been accepted to become a dietetics intern in Chiang Mai, Thailand this upcoming summer! The decision to intern abroad was exciting, yet challenging, as this will be my very first experience over-seas, and away from my family. I am so thankful to be accepted into this internship program in hopes that it will further expand my education in nutrition, as well as help gain more perspective on health care and wellness in different countries. I will be shadowing nurses and dieticians as well as work in clinics and hospitals to educate, prevent and mitigate various diseases, as well as teach nutrition education. There's no greater feeling than hands-on education, and I am greatful enough to be experiencing this in Thailand! Nutrition has always been apart of my life, and my passion and dedication to this subject throughout these past 4 years of college has opened my mind up in so many different ways on how I can help be apart of a growing healthcare community. I hope you can help me achieve my goals and help me get to Thailand!
