Hi everyone!
I have decided to go on my first volunteer trip, across the world, to South Africa this upcoming June alongside one of my good friends, Emily. We have been accepted into a volunteer program for animal care for a duration of 2 weeks to help improve the lives of abandoned dogs and cats. If any of you know me, you know my love for animals and my willingness to give back where I can. The program is expected to attend to sick animals, assist in general care, as well as clean, feed, and help run the shelter. 
As a political science university student, this caught my attention as it contributes to the U.N's sustainable development goal #15; life on land. Not only will this be an amazing experience in a beautiful location, but it will also count towards course credits. 
Although this is a volunteer trip, costs and fees are still quite pricey! i'm working full time and attending university full time as well and would appreciate any support and love!
