My name is Phyllis Laverne S. Manubay and I am from Philippines. This fund my travel page is intended to notify anyone that I am raising money for me to be able to go to Germany in order to experience an intercultural program and right after the program my plan is to look for a good school and pursue my veterinary medicine.

Being able to do the exchange program will create a big change in all aspects of myself and my life as well. The experience will surely teach me to understand and respect the differences of each nation has and teaching those people that are close to me about rendering respect on each others differences will be a good start.

I am really passionate about understanding the differences on each individual is essential for creating a more harmonious and peaceful world. And sharing my culture and its possible differences across the globe would help people be aware of it.

I choose to have my exchange program in Germany because it is the country that I wanted to pursue on my veterinary medicine. I believe that Germany can give me the education that I deserve. And to prepare myself for that, I decided to engage myself to an exchange program to help me understand and adjust to the culture for me to perfectly blend in to people there. Aside from that, going there for an intercultural exchange will help me learn more about the langauge that would be really essential and useful for me to connect with people same as in pursuing my medical course.

As a counter part of my fund raising campaign, I am selling some beauty products same as I have invested a very short term business. I will be selling barbeques during the whole month of my city's festival.

This trip would be really meaningful for me because I know that I would be able to meet people that can contribute change upon myself. And I know that I will learn a lot of things that could be useful for me that I could apply in my life circumstances.
