My Travel Story

I am so excited to have the opportunity to volunteer for the animal shelter program through IVHQ for 4 weeks! This is not technically a missions trip but I know God will bring me opportunities to do his work along the way while I am there! The purpose for this program is to help get pups and kittiens safely off the streets and into a home. It will be so rewarding to see those little tails wagging once they find there way to the right family! We also will take them on walks through the mountains to get them out and about! Also cleaning them and getting them the medical help they need, on top of feeding them and getting them back on track to being strong and healthy again! During this program we will also be setting up adoption events and campaigns. This will include taking pictures of the animals so that way we can showcase the animals that we will be adopted out during the events. I have always had a passion for animals every since I was little, they deserve just as much love as us! I chose Greece as my destination because after doing research I learned there is a need for animal rescue. When I've thought of Greece I never thought the possibility of animals suffering, so this means a lot to me because I wanna be able to get them the help they need to get healthy again, and be placed in their forever home!
