Blessings All, 

I'm Sandy Smith a missionary and Chaplain with the Salvation Army, I serve locally alongside Officers in The Milwaukee, WI. Police Department. Providing spiritual and emotional support on scenes to those who have lost family by homocide, suicide, natural causes, fires and/or child deaths.

I want to share I'm SUPER EXCITED! I have an incredible opportunity to serve abroad October 23-31, 2023, in Johannesburg, South Africa to work with Patricia Bailey Ministries and a team of 25 missionaries along with Survivor’s Journey to Peace  a NGO founded by myself in 2018 to empowers survivors of domestic violence. 

While there, I will be serving with a medical clinic in some of South Africa’s most remote regions. As well as, providing adequate housing by building tiny homes for the homeless. Visiting orphanages to mentor and distribute clothing/food/essentials, as well as, visiting a teen pregnancy center for girls who are affected by HIV/AIDS.

I’m honored God has called me to the nations to evangelize, serve and be his hand and feet in the earth.

In order to make this trip possible, I will need to raise  $4000 by September 30th to cover the cost of airfare, lodging, ground transportation, training, meals, in-country expenses, and some medical supplies needed by the clinic.

More importantly, I am hoping you will join me in prayer as a prayer partner for this trip.  Here are some specific areas to pray:

• Travel safety, both in the air and on the ground.
• Favor with the local communities we serve.
• Wisdom and understanding as we treat physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Opportunities to share the Gospel.
