Help me achieve my dream of gaining work experience in the industry! As a recent graduate, I need months - if not years - of work experience....just to secure and internship and gain some experience in the industry!
It's very competitive and hard to find an internship or a project to work on in the creative industries in Melbourne, especially for students and recent graduates  like myself. 

After actively applying for about 8 months and after being rejected a billion times by companies and design studios (with the same excuse: "You don't have enough experience") I finally received a work offer!!!!! How exciting right??? The only thing is......the internship is not in Melbourne.....sadly enough it's almost impossible to gain work experience in Melbourne, if you don't already have at least a few years of experience....This hurts me a lot since it was my goal to secure an internship /  job opportunity in Australia...

However, to end on a postive note, I've been accepted into an internship program for a design and technology company in Barcelona, Spain and I am so EXCITED!!! I will help the team to develop mobile apps and other tech products to support the development, training and education of disadvantaged people. This is a great learning experience for me, an opportunity for professional development and growth!!!

At the end of this internship, I will have gained:
- 3 months work experience
- 2 industry projects to showcase in my portfolio
- Professional references / network
- Opportunity to work for international clients
- Opportunity to make a difference and help disadvantaged people to create and improve their future!
