My Travel Story

Hi! My name is Brady and I am a 22-year-old college student. I've been offered an extraordinary opportunity to study Politics and Government at the University of Cambridge this summer. I am someone with an extremely passionate interest in politics having volunteered and interned on many local, state, and national political campaigns since I was 10 years old. I was absolutely thrilled when I was admitted to this program, but unfortunately, I and my family have absolutely no way of paying for this. My mother was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and has been unemployed for many years as a result. I was diagnosed with severe Glaucoma when I was 16 years that could possibly result in my blindness. I've undergone an unsuccessful eye surgery that has made my eye very blurry and I suffer from a lot of pain. This has made it virtually impossible for me to be employed, as well as my mother.
I've been offered many other extraordinary opportunities to attend selective programs and conferences this year, but due to financial hardships, I have not been able to attend. I would be grateful to receive financial assistance to attend this program. The total cost is $10,000, as not only have to pay $8000 for the program, but I also have to pay for my travel expenses. Any support is greatly appreciated.
