Being able to make this journey would be the definition of a dream come true. I say dream, because the idea of being able to be a part of this musical-bonding experience, seems so out of reach. This is a true once in a lifetime opportunity that I so desperately want to be a part of. 

If granted this funding and opportunity to join Ice Cream Floats, I would like to have my sister accompany me on this musical cruise.  My sister and I are 7 years apart in age. And if you have siblings, you may remember how an age gap can hinder bonding moments especially in the younger years. I will say the most prominent thing to solidify our bonding has been the music we share. The very first band that drew us together was Modest Mouse. My favorite band, was something I wanted to share with her. A band, that would stay with us and in our hearts for the rest of our lives to come. 

This would be a first time for a sister unity vacation. Between being mothers and working to support our families, Ice cream Floats would be a much needed opportunity for some serious family bonding time. This would be a trip, for the history books, an extreme memory maker.
