Request for Financial Support for the School for Disabled and Orphaned Children in Madagascar

Dear Everyone,

I am writing to request your financial assistance for a private school in Madagascar that cares for disabled and orphaned children. This school, led by a person with a disability themselves, works tirelessly to improve the lives of vulnerable children. It provides them with education, food, and most importantly, a safe space to grow in a caring environment.

However, the school is facing significant challenges. Without support from the government, it relies entirely on donations and volunteer efforts to operate. In 2023, I was able to contribute towards providing meals for the children and purchasing some school supplies. During my visit, the school’s management shared an urgent need: the roof of the school is in poor condition. When it rains, water leaks inside, damaging not only the learning environment but also the health of the children.

In addition to the roof repairs, the school also needs financial support to provide food for the children, as well as essential school supplies like notebooks, pens, compasses, and even desks and chairs. Furthermore, the children often do not have enough clothing, especially during the rainy season. They have only one or two sets of clothes to change, which makes it difficult to cope with the weather conditions. Providing clothing, shoes, and most importantly, food, would be a huge relief for them.

Another urgent need is for the volunteer teachers who work without any salary. Their dedication is admirable, but they deserve some financial support, even a small salary, to encourage them and enable them to continue teaching these children.

Today, I kindly ask for any financial contribution you can provide to help the school repair its roof, offer meals, supply educational materials, provide clothing and shoes, and support the teachers with compensation for their work.

I would like to travel to Madagascar next year, and that is why I will need your support. Once I receive this support, when I return to Madagascar, I will be able to help these people thanks to your financial contributions.

Thank you very much for your attention and any help you can offer. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these children.

I remain at your disposal for any further information.

Sincerely
