Backpacking trip through Asia after all!
My Travel Story
It was always my dream to go on an backpacking trip with just a one way ticket. After having this dream for longer than 10 years, me and my boyfriend finally had made the decision to go live that dream.
We worked our asses off, bought two one way tickets for Thailand, told this to our bosses and quit our jobs. Well we still had to work for a while though after we booked we still had to count down for more then 300 days. But man, was I happy to after 10 years of dreaming and wanting I finally had a date to count down to. 23th of September would be the date we would leave to Thailand.
Unfornutualy the 22th of September I suddenly got very sick. A Stomach virus. I just kept throwing up every time I stood on my feet, I had a fever man I was burning up. My head just kept spinning and spinning ,I was so dizzy and there was nothing changing in my state. I was terrified but because of being so sick I couldn't do anything. Turns out they don't let you on the plain when you're sick like this and just keep throwing up.
We couldn't get on the plane, and now I am back to hoping and dreaming 'cause my ticket didn't get refunded and we couldn't change the dates of the tickets because we were too late..
Usually I don't like asking others for money. But I am so desperate to still go on this trip I just need new money for the flight tickets.
I keep feeling so guilty and I just can't get it out of my head that because of me we couldn't go. After dreaming about this for just a long time it just feels like a really bad joke that now because of myself we couldn't go..
