My Travel Story

My name ist Corinna, I am a veterinary surgeon from Germany and this spring I will be travelling to South Africa as a veterinary volunteer. I will be shadowing an experienced wildlife vet. I will be assisting the vet with immobilising and relocating many different species, such as antilopes, buffalos and rhinos. Also I will assist with disease prevention and pregnancy testing in the field or help treating injured animals.
This will be a great experience and I hope as a qualified vet I will be of some use and also gain some new professional skills.
