My Travel Story

In 2020, Ty’s 8th grade class trip to Michigan was cancelled. So I promised him and his friends that we’d plan an even better trip for high school graduation!

So now, we are so excited to begin planning a Pre-Graduation Trip to Orlando, Florida for the Fall of 2024 or Spring of 2025.

Please pray for the following:

  1. A successful fundraising campaign so that we can begin planning and making commitments in early 2024.
  2. Safe travels to and from Orlando.
  3. Opportunities to visit colleges or potentially participate in the Walt Disney Imagination Campus STEM and Leadership/Team building Workshops. We need a school (Mr. Prater) or church (Pastor Gray) chaperone to include the Imagination Campus workshops.
  4. A travel coordinator and a team of parents to plan all of the details (not just me).
  5. Enough money to make this trip affordable for 15 Chicago Public School students.
  6. A trip that leaves God, the students and their parents proud!



The travel package (approximately $2000 per person) will include roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, theme park tickets, meals and more! This is a fantastic opportunity for students to further their growth and development while having some fun in the sun (escaping the cold Chicago winter)

To cover 15 students, our goal is to fundraise between $1,000 - $2,000 per month before the end of 2023.
