My Travel Story

Next semester, I have the chance to study abroad in Melbourne, Australia at Monash University. Though this is a very exciting opportunity, it is also a very costly one. While living abroad, I will have the chance to engage in a different culture, which will broaden my horizons and serve to improve my communication skills. This experience will help me in my future as a Physician’s Assistant because I will have a deeper understanding of my patients, who will be from all different backgrounds. While attending Monash University, I will improve my ability to learn in new styles. Additionally, this will be an incredible opportunity to share my faith on a broader spectrum and gain more dependence on God. Doing a semester abroad is quite out of my comfort zone and financially expensive, but I believe this is where God is calling me to spend my fall semester and I have faith that "my God will supply every need," beginning with you prayerfully considering financially supporting my endeavor (Phil. 4:19).
