My Travel Story

In September of 2018 I moved to Oregon, leaving my family and friends on the East Coast. While the Pacific Northwest is beautiful and I am having expansive opprtunities both professionally and personally, I sincerely miss the people who were such large parts of my formative years. I have recently found out about a last minute celebration in honor of a dear friend and would love to get back to help celebrate them. 
At the end of February, a lifelong friend (literally, as we were born two days apart) and I plan to visit Alaska to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) together as we celebrate our birthdays together for the first time since childhood. I would love to raise enough to cover anywhere from partial flights to being able to gift her her flight as well. 

I would humble and gratefully accept any contribution you feel called to offer. As an educator, I do not currently earn a lot, but my heart is so filled by my work with young children. This can make spontaneous travel challenging at times but I know that there is an abundance of money in our world, and sometimes we just need to ask for what we would like to receive.
