My Travel Story

I was a leading expert in electron microscopy, focused ion beam microscopy, and related analytical equipment. I just retired after 40 years. I started out as a science teacher and if it wasn't for the fact that it paid peanuts, I would have stayed in the profession. Careers in EM and FIB are in demand in the US, PAC RIm, and Europe. I hope to bring a portable SEM around Eastern Europe and introduce students to the technology. If it works like it did for me, I never wanted to do ewnything else. Entry level technicians in semiconductor earn roughly $ 80,000 per year to start. Capable technicians can also write their own ticket to Grad Schools seek students who can maintain their equipment. 

I need $ 250,000 to buy a portable SEM and Van to set it up in.
