Hello everyone! I'm Sydney and I will be studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain in 2020 as part of my collegiate experience. This will be an adventure of a lifetime!  The experience will afford me with a multitude of opportunities that will promote my personal and academic growth, giving me insight into the cultural diversity of the world.  This unique experience will enhance and complement my college coursework and strengthen my portfolio for future academic and employment endeavors.  I believe that studying abroad will aid in stimulating and expanding my mindset, flexibility, resourcefulness, and adaptability.  This adventure holds promise in helping me grow as an individual, while cultivating a broad-minded and perceptive adult who yearns to lead in her future.  As a marketing major, a study abroad experience such as this would promote my cultural understanding as well as give me insight on global businesses and international markets.  I’m excited to be part of this unique experience as I welcome the opportunity to meet new people, to broaden my understanding, and to learn culturally. Programs, such as this, are adventures that offer endless rewards and benefits, which have the potential to impart a lasting and impressionable impact on my life and my future endeavors.  Students, such as myself, who are willing to make the commitment and take the leap in studying abroad, will return home with their lives enriched, stimulated, and forever transformed. 
Unfortunately, some of my awarded scholarships will not cover any out-of-state educational expenses; therefore, I'm trying to find means to bridge the gap between my current educational costs and those incurred while studying abroad.  Any assistance in my educational endeavors is greatly appreciated!
