60th Birthday and finally time to hit the Bucket List
My Travel Story
my mum had a horrible childhood , lost a baby to SIDS, raised 3 children as a single mother, endures severe arthritis, has had 4 knee replacements, owned her own home, sold her home and funds were used to support a partner through illness, now rents accommodation, parted company with her partner after 15yrs, has been bankrupt, works 7 days a week still at her age!!!
For most this would break your spirit but not my mum!!! We kids have the hardest working mum cos we never went without, we were always greeted with a hug, kiss and smile. Our own children are now so so lucky to have the best nan ever, she supports us in everything, she sees me through my depression and bipolar, she cares for my ADHD son and shows nothing but patience and kindness, she makes time for all her friends regardless of how tired or busy she is, she fundraisers and donates t numerous charities, basically my mum is beautiful inside and out and deserves so much more then what she has and has been dealt over the years.
so for her birthday I'm trying to raise enough money to take her on the only trip I've ever heard her say that she would love to go on. She never gets to holiday or even rest properly on a weekend due to work, so I believe for once in her life a miracle can occur and she be surprised with the ultimate gift and surprise trip. So she can visit New Orleans and Nashville and do everything she would like to do and put herself first for a change. I just needed to put this wish out into the universe and hope it be seen.
