My name is Blessing, and I currently reside in South Africa, although I'm originally from Zimbabwe. From Uganda Christian University, which is situated in Uganda, East Africa, I hold a bachelor's degree in management and economics.
Because of the crippled state of our economy in Zimbabwe, I came to South Africa in 2016 in search of better opportunities. However, ever since, I have been working odd jobs for little or no pay, and occasionally I have gone without food in an effort to pay for necessities. I met someone who promised to assist me in obtaining the necessary legal documentation for my stay in South Africa in 2018 so that I could obtain a better job, but up until now, their assistance has been story after story without results. They chose to offer me a place to reside where I am forced to work without food or compensation. I struggle every day because I do not have the proper documentation to remain in South Africa.Since my parents passed away when I was eight years old, my aunt has been looking after my welfare. However, she passed away recently, so I feel stranded and have no other family members who can support me, which is why I came to this site. I'm requesting this donation because I want to return to Zimbabwe to sort out my passport and other documentation so that I can apply for a visa to go to New Zealand, where I would like to go and pursue better career opportunities, such as working on a cruise ship and other internship programs that are essential for professional development.Since I am one, I have always had a desire for helping orphans. If my travels and job are successful, I would love to assist orphans in the near future because I understand what it's like to be one.I'm driven to make environmental changes because I'm sick of staring at the clock, sick of being inert; I want to advance, become more productive, and give back to society. New Zealand's robust economy, abundant possibilities, and reduced crime rates are the main reasons I picked it.
