This trip helping the children in Kenya will be a brilliant thing to make me stand out from other candidates with going into the career of child care. To be able to make a difference to so many children by donating clothes and supplies, building new areas to the school and teaching them maths, English and PE skills will be truly beneficial to them for life. On the trip, we also get to see some great sites in Kenya such as the Nakuru national park safari drive, a visit to the equator to stand in between the southern and northern hemisphere, and a visit to Thompson falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in east Africa. This trip is a once in a lifetime thing which will impact not only all the children, parents and staff in the school, but also help us see the things we take for granted and how lucky we are to have good, free education here in the UK.
