hi I'm going to Uganda and volunteer. Will be visiting a non-profit organization called The Fortress which is an organization that helps young, outcast and pregnant women in Uganda with a safe temporary home. 

Their goal is to provide vulnerable, outcast, outcast pregnant teenagers in Kampala with a temporary home and a safe existence during their pregnancy and birth. To give them a chance at a dignified life, when no one else does. The girls must have a network to return to and they must be given the opportunity to begin an education in order to achieve self-sufficiency.

There are eight girls who manage the work with the non-profit association The Fortress Sweden from Gothenburg. The operations in Uganda are run by the organization W.O.P.I Woman of Purpose International.

In Sweden, we are working on solving the financing to be able to keep the home in Kampala open. This is done through collections, events, jewelry sales and by recruiting monthly donors.

Now I am going there and volunteering and helping with the daily work but also going to the slums and vaccinating the street children on the spot. I work as a school nurse in my daily life. Always burned to help other people. I now need your help to collect money both to cover a bit of my trip but also to be able to buy vaccines for these street children.So I will be extremely grateful if you could donate a penny to support this important work I will be doing.
