My Travel Story

Thank you for takng a look at my travel plan! I seem to have a crazy obsession over volunteering... Especially if it is fun! Starting with animal rescues, then moving to planting trees and clearing trails, and even looking into volunteering at a horse rescue! Now I am taking it up a notch and helping to conserve the national parks of New Zealand! Wow! 

I am going on a 1 month trip to New Zealand in July of 2018 with a group of people between ages 18-24 who all want to do something good for this world of ours. After the first few weeks of a healthy mixture of fun and work, we will then be going to Fiji for a week or so of relaxation and reflection! It'll be a good way for me to make a few friends, and go out on my first out-of-the-country trip!

  • Mimiwhangata Coastal Park

    Mimiwhangata Coastal Park
    This is where I will be doing my first conservation project! Mimiwhangata is home to endangered shore birds and has an abundance of marine life, including whales, penguins, dolphins, gannets and many other species. Looks like fun!
