Hello! I’m Danielle, a student and young artist from the Philippines. Out of thousands of applicants, I have been selected as one of the representatives for the Youth Vision Assembly 2025 to be held on September 19–22 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as a Partially Funded Delegate. The conference, hosted by the Centre for Diplomatic Advancement (CDA), is a global platform for students and young professionals to develop skills in education, diplomacy, policymaking, and sustainability. It empowers future leaders with the knowledge, networks, and tools needed to drive meaningful change. I am beyond excited and grateful for this opportunity!

As a Partially Funded Delegate, I will have:
  • Full access to all sessions, networking events, and workshops
  • Official visa support letter
  • Accommodation for the event duration
  • Meals during the conference
However, I must cover my own travel expenses including airfare and visa costs. One of the ways I am going to make this trip a reality is through fundraising and I hope you can support me in this journey.

Any contribution, big or small, will bring me one step closer to representing our country on a global stage. Thank you for believing in young people like me and I am sharing below more about my story, what I'll be doing and why it's important to me.

I am Danielle Ruby Conde, a student and young artist from the Philippines who began animating when I was 11 years old. What started as just fun posting my animations on YouTube turned into something much bigger—I built a community, reached over 55 million views, and realized the kind of impact stories can have on someone's childhood. I’ve spent most of my time telling stories online but my goal goes beyond content creation; I want to use my art to connect and start real conversations. I’m proud of what I’ve worked on so far, from graduating with high honors to awards in graphic design and animation, but I’m even more excited about what’s ahead.

Now, as I step into college, I’m looking for spaces to grow not just as an artist, but as a changemaker. As a Filipino youth, I carry more than just personal challenges. I’m growing up in a time where international and local political tensions, such as the territorial disputes with China in the West Philippine Sea and the ICC arrest of former Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte for crimes against humanity, remind us how complex and fragile our future is. These issues shape our sovereignty, national identity, and the kind of leadership we’ll need moving forward. In all this, I believe artists must step up—not with violence or rage, but with truth, empathy, and the power to inspire people toward action.

I am committed to empower my generation, be a voice of youth, and learn the necessary skills to reach and connect to my peers. As a young creator with a large reach and passion to tell stories, I can use my platform to share my perspectives and help guide the youth as we navigate changes of our time related to artificial intelligence, climate action, diplomacy, governance, and more.

I want to start a collective of both artists and individuals from various backgrounds, centered on social impact—to help people understand what’s happening around them and help them to make informed decisions. I want to create work that invites people to question, reflect, and connect. Through art, we can foster empathy, encourage dialogue, and push for peaceful and diplomatic solutions to conflict. And to do that effectively, I know I need to grow—not just as an artist, but as someone equipped in diplomacy, technology, policymaking, and sustainability. This opportunity would help me build the knowledge and networks I need to turn this vision into something real with my art, my stories, and a community that believes in the same.

Youth Vision Assembly 2025 is the perfect space to learn from global youth leaders, share ideas, and explore creative ways to drive meaningful change. I am hoping for this conference to be my first international participation and to bring what I learn here into my college journey and beyond, to become the kind of artist who doesn’t just create—but connects, inspires, and leads.
