My Travel Story

Protecting our oceans and living sustainably has always been my passion, and I am honored to have been accepted into the prestigious Duke Pre-College Program in Marine Biology. This program is a life-changing opportunity that aligns perfectly with my academic and career goals, giving me access to high-quality education, world-class professors, and hands-on experience in marine conservation. It will open doors for me to top universities and set me on the path toward making a real impact on ocean preservation and sustainability.

However, despite receiving a 75% scholarship, I am still struggling to cover the remaining costs. I need $1,000 for tuition, along with $1,500 for flights, $200 for a visa, and $50 for a passport. Coming from Morocco, where my family is facing financial hardships, these expenses are beyond what we can afford. My uncle is seriously ill and requires medical care, and we are also struggling to finalize the construction of our home.

Attending this program is not just about me it’s about the future of our planet. With the knowledge and experience I gain from Duke, I will be better equipped to contribute to marine conservation efforts and promote sustainable living in my community and beyond. The ocean is vital to all life on Earth, and I want to dedicate my studies and future career to protecting it.

Going to the USA has always been a dream of mine, and now that it is finally within reach, I do not want financial limitations to hold me back. This program is a stepping stone to a brighter future, and with your support, I can make the most of this incredible opportunity to help save our oceans and create a more sustainable world.
