My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Maddie and I am currently a sophomore at SUNY Geneseo studying Psychology. This past year I joined the Sibling Peer Research Lab here at Geneseo. After putting many hours into coding and creating our current presentation, "The Effect of Task on 7-Year-Olds' Prosocial Behavior Toward Siblings and Friends," we have been accepted to present our research at this years Association for Psychological Sciences Conferences, a conference this group has not attended in years. I am proud of this accomplishment of mine and would love the opportunity to present among peers and professionals. The conference is being held in San Francisco, California this May 2024. While this is an exciting place to travel, it has shown to be a very expensive trip. The small amount of money I was granted from the school does not even cover a plane ticket. I am hoping to raise as much money as I can in order to help ensure I can attend the conference. Any amount will help. Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)
