My Travel Story

Hey! My name is Montgomery Parker and I am a sophmore in high school. I love adventuring and meeting new friends. When I graduate High School I plan on geting a degree in business. My ultimate life goal, which I see myself completeing in my late 30's-40's, is to open up and run my own hotel/resort. I have many different ideas already and I am willing to do anything it takes to make my dream happen. I found out about a program where I could live in New York for four weeks over the summer and be placed in an internship of one of my top interests. I would be rooming with another girl my age and I would go to work from 9-5. When we get home and on the weekends we go out and do super fun activities with all of the other kids interning in different areas. Some of the activities includes going to the top of the empire state building, visiting coney island for a day on the beach, going bowling, and much more. I thought this would be such an amazing experience and I had to do it. The only problem is, it is quite expensive. It is 8,000 dollars. I am applying for the scolarship they offer but that is only 2,000 dollars of the program expensives off. My parents are very loving and supportive and they think this is a great opportunity for me. They work so hard to support me and I don't want to run them out of cash before I get to collage. So I made them a deal that I would come up with half of the money on my own. I am getting a job to help come up with my half and I also am hoping you will help me reach my goal too! Thank you!
