Have you ever just wanted to sell everything you owned, quit your job and just travel?

That's exactly what I'm doing!

I've moved out of my studio apartment, given notice at my job, and made a very generous donation to GoodWill. The rest of my things are packed into boxes and put in storage and all that's left now is to just go! 

If only it were that easy. I have moved out of my apartment, my job knows i'm leaving, and the things I haven't gotten rid of are in storage, but this pilgrammige across Europe still needs some funding. 

Here's the back story...

This trip started out as a vacation with my cousin/travel partner. When she wasn't able to get as much time off of work as we were hoping for, I decided to stay a couple days longer. A couple days turned into a week, which turned into 2 weeks which turned into staying as long as possible!

As i've recently finished a certificate program for Graphic Design to supplement my Art degree, I was already planning on leaving my job in healthcare. When I decided to extend my trip the thing that I was most excited about was to have the time to really figure out who I want to be as an artist and designer and have a fresh start.

That's where you come in. 

My savings up until this point has been for what I thought would be a three week trip. Do to the generosity of some amazing friends I've been able to move out of my apartment and save what I would have been spending on rent. However, in order for this trip to be successfull, there are still a few things I need.

I'm a budget traveler. This is trip is not about shopping in foreign cities, in fact I won't be able to buy much anyway because it won't fit in my back pack. I plan on staying in hostels and with friends that I already know when possible. This campaign is about funding my ability to see as much of Europe as possible which means train passes, and hostel reservations.  And since I'll be leaving my job to allow for extended travel time I'll need travlers insurance.
