Hello,
my name is Senga Wamwenga, a Congolese living in Montreal, Canada. I am a recent graduate  and I am raising funds to travel  to volunteer in the East region of the Democratic Republic of Congo,  Masisi, North Kivu where  women have been victims of rape by rebel and militia groups..  my aunt Charlotte is also one of the victims. She was on her way back from her friends home when she got stopped by 5 armed rebels who gang raped her and infected her with HIV. she is a single mother and has 3 children. she's now being treated and getting Antiretroviral Treatment from Médecin Sans Frontieres, but she has no job and struggles to even feed her 3 children. So i decided to go volunteer in her community by teaching the victims of rape Social Entrepreneurship and raise funds for them to start small restaurants business. I have studied International Development and Peace keeping and i believe there is no other better places for me to offer my expertise than in my native country. I also believe that my volunteering services will help change lives in Masisi, DRC. Your contributions toward my travels will not only help me but also the Masisi community that will benefit from my experience and use it to change their lives.
