My Travel Story

Hello everyone! I am starting a fundraiser to assist in the cost of a volunteer program. In this volunteer program, I will fly to Peru take a 10 hour bus ride and a 1 hour boat ride down a river to live in a bungalow and work for a month to do my part in Amazonian rainforest conservation while there is still time. The Amazon rainforest is the epitome of forests and is home to an estimated 50% of this earths species. But is suffering every day due to deforestation, mining, poaching, and unethical farming. It is estimated that there will no longer be an Amazon rainforest by the year 2100 if these atrocities continue. And I want to do my part in preserving the majesty of the rainforest and all the heart beats within. (Disclaimer: no donations will be used for any personal adventures whilst in Peru such as souvenirs, extra tours etc. I will happily pay out of pocket for that).
