My Travel Story

My name is Shanice Atwell and I am a Physician Assistant student at the University of Tampa. I am very excited to announce that I will be doing a mission trip with my fellow classmates and faculty in January of 2024. We will be there for 1 week and will have the opportunity to provide medical services to individuals living in underserved communities. The services we plan to provide, inlcude vaccinations, wellness checks and health screenings for the residents of the area. I am very passionate about this project because it will allow me to utilize the knowledge and skills I have learned to make a difference in the lives of those in need. I am a full time student and I am unable to work so any amount to help fund my travel expenses and program fee would be greatly appreciated.
