My 8-week summer internship would be meaningful because it would give me a chance to immerse myself in a different culture, gain international trade/professional experience by working as an intern at a specific firm, and participate in the opportunity of a lifetime. My parents are paying my bills for college and do not have the extra money to send me on a trip this summer. I will be working and saving up money, but I cannot do this alone. It would mean the world to me if I were able to go to Barcelona this summer, as I am truly trying to get my foot in the door with international trade and prepare for my future career.
