My Travel Story

     Studying abroad is something I have always imagined myself doing. The idea of spending time abroad to expand both my academic and cultural horizons has always appealed to me. I have always valued the opportunity to experience new cultures and surroundings. While abroad, I plan on gaining knowledge on topics that as a biology major, would have never explored at Towson University. In addition to this, I hope to reach out of my comfort zone and experience the lifestyle of a place that I have always dreamed of going to.

     I hope to spend a month in Italy over the summer at the American University of Rome; where I would have the opportunity to learn more about the Italian culture. I plan on taking courses that focus on the history of the beauty that Rome has to offer.

     I have never studied anywhere other than the east coast of the United States, and I have only traveled to a few Caribbean islands. The chance to spend time in Europe, learning about the unique cultures and historic places is a dream that I am far too excited to live out. Italy especially has always been somewhere I have wanted to see. The chance to study in the city of Rome is unimaginable. Studying in Italy is the experience of a lifetime that I only hope to be able to achieve.
