As many of you know, and for the ones who do not, my dream and passion in life is to become a large animal veterinarian (DVM), with a focus in equine (horses). A large animal veterinarian is one who specializes in the larger animal species, such as bovine (cows) and equine (horses). I applied for and was selected out of numerous candidates for this phenomenal opportunity. From May24th-June 20th 2015, I will be able to study abroad and experience the many different aspects Scotland has to offer towards enriching my education, skills and knowledge about the equine industry. Working hands on with these English horses will be a major part of my study and training. I will also be taking an Equine Anatomy and Physiology course, along with an Equine Fitness course at Oatridge College, which is an agricultural college, just 15 minutes from the city’s capital, Edinburgh. I will earn 6 credit hours for taking these courses that will transfer and be credited towards my Animal Science degree at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA. If 250 people gave just $20 each, it will help me reach my goal!  Thank you in advance for your contribution!
