I am an 18-year-old student studying at the University of Guelph, in my first year Animal Biology program. I have a strong love of animals and my dream is to make the quality of life for animals better. I want to volunteer my time in Guatemala this year to help the control of animal population of stray cats and dogs and also provide much needed care for animals who owners bring home as little as $2 a day.

Also this is an opportunity to provide basic veterinary care to animals in need of our help. This also means I have the incredible opportunity to be apart of this enriching volunteer experience.

Vida volunteers learn first hand about Central American cultures, participate in home- stays, cultural activities, and work side by side with local licensed health care professionals in mobile clinics. This is an excellent opportunity for myself as It I plan to pursue Veterinary College in hopes of being able to better the lives of animals and their owners.

Anything you can give will help these animals, all donations will be going towards supplies and medication for the animals that we will be able to give care to during this experience.
