My Travel Story

Please donate to fund a trip for me and my friend to Europe. This will be the last thing we get to do before we go our separate ways to college and only see each other during the summer. We have been talking about this trip for a few years and realized that the only realistic way to make it a possibility is to raise funds. I have a job but currently it will not be enough to fund the trip.

I am planning on minoring in the German language in college and this trip would be extremely beneficial, as immersion is the best and quickest way to learn a language. I remember being in German class and listening to audio of germans speaking and thinking, "Wow. It would be so great to take my German to the next level and be able to understand German as well as I do English." I cannot even begin to tell you how much your donation would mean to me. Knowing German could open new doors for me in college, such as getting hired by a German engineering company.

With this trip I will be able to greatly improve upon the three years of German I currently have under my belt. I will also get to experience a culture different from my own here in America and I will always remember this trip. We really want to travel all across Europe, most notably the United Kingdom and Germany. Please think about donating to make this trip a reality for us.
