My Travel Story

Friends and Family,

I am traveling abroad this summer to continue my education in London, the financial headquarters of the world!  This unique program focuses on issues in international accounting.  Our world needs a global-mindset workforce.  This incredible opportunity teaches me the skills of collaborating with diverse teams, living responsibly on my own in another country, and experiencing life from a new perspective!  By studying abroad, I will implement the skills I’ve learned while I’m still in school and when I join the workforce.  The biggest regret that college graduates have is not taking advantage of the opportunity to study abroad.  I want to be a part of this great opportunity during my college career.  By investing in my future, I will be setting myself up for success later down the road.  While most of my peers will be spending their summers relaxing with friends, I will continue learning and working towards completing my degrees.  Studying aborad is no longer optional in the eyes of recruiters; they are looking for that experience on resumes.  55% of Pitt Business students will study abroad before they graduate.  While it is a costly investment, I know it will be beneficial.  I cannot do this alone.  I hope to partner with you on this journey!

    Flight Is Set!
    Friends and Family,

    I have booked my flight to London! I will be taking the redeye flight on May 15th. I am hoping to sleep as much as possible during transit because as soon as I land, it'll be go-go-go until bedtime. Please reach out if you would like to catch up before I depart for my trip.
