Hello! My name is Rory and I am a Junior in the Art + Design program at NC State University. For my final year, I have to study abroad to complete my degree. I am relying on financial aid and scholarships to cover some of the tuition, but I still have to pay for a plane ticket, housing, transportation, and various other expenses. 
I am a very creative person, however, even with an ambitious mindset it is very difficult to acquire a job in the arts without networking. This opportunity would significantly help me gain more experience and connections to land a job in a creative field that I am passionate about. It would also be my first time traveling outside of North America, and I would be studying under some skilled professionals in Florence, a city known for its artistic history. Plus, it would help me complete my degree at State. 
There are plenty of more urgent and demanding causes to donate to than this, but if anyone could donate even just a small amount for my birthday or for the holidays, it would be an incredible help to me and very much appreciated. I would also be happy to send some stickers and art to anyone else who donates :)
