Social Justice Trip to Bolivia - St. Thomas Aquinas.
My Travel Story
Once again STA is proud to announce that 5 committed colleagues are organizing a solidarity trip - this time to Bolivia.
For the last 4 years St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School has offered student trips to Nicaragua. There, the students would live with families in rural communities in order to gain a better perspective on global poverty. This life-changing experience also includes a small building project that the students, alongside the local people, would help construct.
Though this year our destination is different our goal remains the same. To ensure that the students from Aquinas gain a truly educational, transformational and engaging international social justice experience.
This initiative is expensive though. Any amount of money you can offer to help buffer our program fees/building costs would be greatly appreciated. This year we decided not to have our traditional fundraising night "Fiesta Night." We have been working hard on preparing the students for this new destination. In place of "Fiesta Night" we are asking for donation through here.
Thanks again for your continued support.
