My Travel Story

Im Maria, im latina from cuba but my family immigrated to portugal where I was born. My grandparents had to go back to Cuba a couple years ago and I was hoping to meet them there while they are still alive. My mom is politically not allowed to go back to cuba since she has left the country 23years ago... and thats why Im going on a solo trip. While flying from so far away I decided to do a South America trip, and meet for the first time my latino roots. I've got 2 months free from my work as a psychiatric nurse so I want to backpack as many countries in SA as possible and ending it with cuba. While backpacking I hope to volunteer for a short time in the Healthcare field so I can gain more experience in my career.
