My Travel Story

Ba Vi is a beautiful rural area approximately 50Kms from Hanoi city and is home to the Ba Vi disability centre.
The centre provides ongoing support and rehabilitation for children with severe physical and mental disabilities who have been labelled by the government as 'beyond hope'. It also holds shelter for some of the homeless in Hanoi.
These children however, unable to care for themselves, will be left without their basic needs being met if it wasn't for the centre and it's volunteer program.

On this program I will assist in delivering much needed physical therapy for the long term rehabilitation of the centres residents and also contribute in helping feed, care and provide basic education to the young vulnerable children of Hanoi.

With so much to give and gain in return I can’t think of a reason not to go on this adventure...

I am doing some fundraising providing holistic therapy treatments and asking for donations. Please follow my inventory for updates on treatments and funds raised offline.

    So I couldn't wait until the end of the month!
    This month has been full to the brim and I've packed every hour possible to get closer to the end goal...
    BUT WE'VE DONE IT!
    Next week I will be paying not only the remaining program fees of £730 (+ conversion rate) BUT also £178 (+cvr) and even £122 towards my vaccinations!!!
    The BIG FEBRUARY PUSH was worth every minute!
    Safe to say I will be enjoying my first (unexpected) weekend off! this weekend!
