Im a recovering heroin addict. I waa addicted for 3 years and had overdosed and done many crimes to continue my habit. About 18 months ago I ended up watching my fiancee overdose and decided that I no longer could or would do that to myself. I ended up going to prison due to charges I had committed during my addiction and now am trying to begin my new life sober and in a new location. They say you have to completely turn your back on your old life and old friends in order for it to work. That's exactly what I'm trying to do....thank you all for any support cause its life changing for me
